Heart of Gold Gazette - Edition#11

The question is:

           What makes you come alive?

There was a time not too many years ago when I knew that there was something that I could do that would be big enough and effective enough and wonderful enough that it would change the entire world and we could all get on with living our own peaceful, loving, abundant, cooperative, fun lives.  Yes, it was a big burden, but . . . . . .

Then one day someone told me what I could be doing that would make a real difference in the world and in my life.  I was reminded that the best thing that I could do for the world and for my own life was to be the very best ME that I could be, and the only person that could make that happen was ME.

What a relief it was to not have to save the world. Leaving my "Luke Skywalker complex" behind as I stepped into becoming more and more of who I truly am.

So I began to practice.  I knew that it wouldn't happen over night.  I also knew that the very most important step was going to be the first step, and that was to create the possibility that I could live my life being the very best me that I could be.  (This is beginning to sound a bit Dr. Suess-ish.)

I've been consciously Designing My Life for 413 days.  I've seldom felt this alive and vital.  I love how people show up and how the world appears, and I want to play with people who are becoming more and more alive.

I have a simple question for you -- What makes you come alive?  Are you having that in your life?  Is it in your plans for "someday"?

I ask you this, because, as Harold Whitman says, ". . . what the world needs is people who have come alive."

If you'd like to send me a reply and let me know how you are becoming more and more alive, I'd love to hear it.  I'd like to hear whatever your thoughts and feelings are about this.

Whatever you do, don't forget:

Today you are You, that is truer than true.
There's no one alive who it Youer than You.

Blessings on us all,
